The overall goal of this program is to get trainees started in an accredited trade training curriculum with the purpose of getting them hired by an electrical or HVAC contractor in our area. Trainees will go through the same theory and task training our accredited Pennsylvania State Apprenticeship does. All while Universal Academy utilizes its training credibility in the area to promote trainees for hirable opportunities. All curriculum credits gained during this program are completely transferable to our Accredited Apprenticeship Program. So, you learn to earn and you don’t lose any time in your pathway to a Journey worker’s certificate in the state of Pennsylvania!
Universal Academy supports the ability of the student to be hired in the following ways:

- Monthly emailed resumes to over 100 contractors in the area!
- Students resume is visible on our online platform Apprentiscope 24-hours a day / 7 Days a week / 365 days a year.
- Fall season job fairs attended by current participating contractors.
Cost for the "Train to Hire Program" is - $5,500.00 per year
Cost for the program can be broken into 10 monthly payments of $550.00 per month starting August of 2026.
Universal Academy accepts the Cash, Check and Major Credit Cards.
If the student has completed the 80-hour boot camp, there is a $1000.00 discount for all applicants.
Payments would then by $4,500.00 per year!
