WHY CHOOSE UNIVERSAL ACADEMY?

Universal Academy was created in 2017 by Universal Electrical Service to provide our employees with the quality, hands-on, and in-depth training our apprentices were lacking at previous institutions. It is our belief that craft knowledge is obtained through instruction, recalled through repetition, and reinforced through hands on application of practical knowledge. Our training is built upon the foundation of the NCCER curriculum, which allows us to offer a four year apprenticeship program that is accredited in the state of Pennsylvania towards a journeymen’s certificate.

Universal Academy

Due to the success of our program, in 2018 we opened our doors to other like-minded contractors looking to invest in their employee’s potential and offer a high caliber apprenticeship program that prepares their workers for our competitive industry.

Training to multiple electrical contractors in the south eastern Pennsylvania region and growing! Not only did this type of relationship generate an excellent training program but it extended into the field by building strong, complimentary relationships with other electrical contractors.

OUR COURSES

APPRENTICESHIP

Universal Academy offers a fully accredited and PA Registered four year apprenticeship training program. Using the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum as its base educational platform, Universal Academy offers a complete education which focuses not only on textbook knowledge, but also hands on learning with tools and equipment and interaction with product specialists for insight and training on all of today’s newest equipment and material.
